Where to Stay Near the Cavalcade of Lights Festival

The Cavalcade of Lights will be taking place at Nathan Phillips Square, located in Toronto, Canada. This annual free event will be celebrated on November 27, 2021 and feature the lighting of Toronto’s 50 ft tall Christmas tree, live musical performances, skating presentations and a DJ skating party.

Opened in the year 1965, Nathan Phillips Square has since then become the home of art displays, concerts, weekly farmer’s market, the winter festival of lights, as well as many other public events.

Events

The events will start from sunset to 11 in the evening. However, it is best to go to the event before the opening to see and take photographs of some of the best sceneries. If you do not want to endure the huge crowds, it is advisable to visit the place at 9pm or an hour before the closing time.

Throughout the colder time of year, the square's reflecting pool is changed into an ice rink. This setting likewise draws in great many visitors and guests yearly from all around the globe. Most importantly, everyone is invited to witness the lighting of the huge Christmas tree that signifies the opening of the holiday season.
